Anybody want to recommend some hard jerkbaits that wont' get a guy divorced if he wanted to buy 5 or 10 of em? What alternatives are out there?
I lost an LC pointer this weekend in some rocks, and had to gather myself before getting back on the trolling motor.

Yeah mustache compititions need to happen more often. I only wish i could grow more than three hairs above my upper lip.
There should be an option pot in tourneys for best mustache, I think that Berto would always be in the top 5 with his stalker/petter-ass stash. But Russ would always win, nobody grows a dick duster like that guy.
never heard that one - funny

I still think quality baits that have better color options like LC, Megabass, or ZIP catch fish better than Rapala or Smithwick in alot of situations. The problem is, to really match what the fish want you need a large color selection in alot of different depths etc etc. However, buying one bait that catches more fish is a better option than two that catch fewer fish obviously...and you won't lose em anymore cause you nows have a lure retriever. :-)
You two love birds both make good points though!

BigBass Dez said:Last time i check the thread said "Quality" Jerkbaits not nameed L.C. !! Excuse me if i offended the those Smithwick jerkbait users ,too bad get over it !! secondly i never said that rapalas dont catch bass , i just stated the reasons that i dont use them over others ..

Did anyone read Snakes complete thread? I am sure he was asking about cheaper alternatives. Dez recomends megabass even though they cost $10 more than a L.C. I am pretty sure he doesn't know how to read though, his second suggestion makes more sense, then Russ recomends the squad minnow which is the same price and another lure that has been discontinued and when they are found are expensive, he third statement is totally on point. I just thought I would point this out.
Are you guys talking about the Rapala Husky jerks or are you talking about the Rapala X-Rap's, I have caught fish on both versions and used to tear them up when the husky jerks first came out. Still Suspending rogues have been around for a long time and work great as well.
Hey weird question but what site is bbc? I tried a search and got an English TV provider and a whole lot of porn.... searching for BBC on Google can be an interesting experience and not one id care to undertake again

Ok I'll admit I didn't read every line of every post so if someone already mention the Luck-E-Strike "Rick Clunn" RC STX baits, they run in the $7-$8 range, and are clearly modeled after the Mega-bass vision 110. I bought a handful and have caught some smallies on them but do not contribute considerable amounts of time to fishing jerk baits. The quality is surprisingly nice. Sticky hooks, and have not seen any chipping.
