I guess since I now own most of Dez's old Lamiglas rods, I would be a Lamiglas guy.

I have an assortment now, but plan on going to one brand as money dictates...My fav is Shimano and Daiwa. I have a couple Abu garcia's that I'm less than impressed with.

Yes you are a lami angler Brian and you have some awesome rods bro with lots of good ju ju on them !!

I have never had any fustrations with lami's products , I just dont know why they stop making a top shelf bass rod !! the certified pro's are good rods and the XMG series are ever better imo, as to why they stop making the XMG's , who knows !! Honestly that is what put me back in the market looking for a new rod , I decided to go with Dobyns after field testing about 5 of there rods over a 30day period last season , i was totally pleased with the product and the rest is history :-)

This thread is very interesting , i had know ideal that guys are using so many different rods statewide.
