Lamiglas!
Yes, I am sponsored, but it was me that sought them out more than 13 years ago because they provide something none of the others provide. I fish for just about everything that swims, so I need rod models that range from fly rods to halibut. I have quality Lamiglas rod models for all. Sure the other rod manufacturers make some good sticks, but none of them make the variety and choices within varieties that Lamiglas makes. This past year I even caught 9+ foot sturgeon on Lamiglas rods...I haven't seen any other brand mentioned that can handle that.
Dez, you bailed too soon on Lamiglas; first of all the XMG rods are still being made but the models are names you just didn't recognize, like their Indian River series. Secondly you are really going to be sorry when the new series come out. New blank materials, and some new tapers and actions. Don't bother asking when they will be available because I don't know yet. This is new stuff, and Lamiglas isn't going to rush it out onto the market until they have the designs we want.
I'm still trying to work my way through their current line-up but do enjoy testing new technology, and helping with the design when I can.
Be sure to check out the upcoming Bass Angler's Magazine; I have a pictorial article of a tour through the Lamiglas Factory in Woodland, showing step by step how they manufacture their rods from graphite cloth to the finished rod.

I must be missing something. What is the reason for these stupid ass polls?

Though I have probably 5 diff brands in my boat on any given day. Whatever rod I win in a bass club raffle I use.
