Washington Fishing

So how was everybody's weekend? Lots of guys at Banks, Potholes, Sammamish, and ??? How did you do?!

I was at Moses Sat. morning but didn't have much luck. Water level is still down, all docks out of the water or VERY shallow... A few smallies were biting but not all that great. So I went to Potholes for the evening bite. Caught a few nice smallies. Sunday I just decided to go straight back out to Potholes. Fishing was good! Smallies were biting good for me, caught a nice limit and called it a day after only a 3 hours.

Got stuck in the TRAFFIC!!!!!!!! on snoqualmie heading home. Took over 6 hours in what is usually a 3 hour trip... At least the weather was awesome all weekend!

Hit up Sammy wiyth Taggystyle on Saturday and had a ton of fun, then hit up Goodwin in the afternoon with Stuart and caught 3 heres the bigger ones. Fish were in 4-6ft of water and the water temp was 50 degrees. WOW!!! I caught these guys on a skirted beaver on a 3/8 oz football head working it over the big boulders, but talked to a guy who caught a few on rattle traps too.

Awesome looking smallies Jordan! I only live about 20 mins from Goodwin, I may have to hit it up while I am waiting for Whatcom to open. I know that lake has some good fish in it but for some reason I never end up fishing it.
Nice fish! Glad some got into em
Went up north Saturday w/ nwbasscat. I blanked & he landed a nice 5.4 largie on clearlake.
Made it out this evening for a couple hours after work. I decided to field test one of Ron's custom "Pig Jigs" for my first largemouth outing of the year. They sure look sexy in the water with a Double Wide Beaver as a trailer. I caught these two fish in the first fifteen minutes on the lake. I had one other bite on the "Pig Jig" but when I reared back I drove the hook right into the bottom of a log. I need to remember to let them eat this jig an extra moment or two before crossing their eyes. I can't wait to throw this jig when the weather gets a little funky. I fished a standard jig some and caught a handful, but the fish were slightly smaller. Thanks again, Ron.

Those are some awesome largies Tag! I made it out to Big Lake after work this evening and they wouldn't touch my jig anymore. I helped one of my neighbors stick a couple on a Senko. Nothing huge, just a 3 and a 4. Right at dark though there was a school of small trout that were right at the surface that looked like they were being harrassed by quite a few large bass out in the middle of the South end of the lake. I threw a trout catch 22 around for about 15 mins through the trout but nothing hit. It was wild though! Something kept spooking those small trout over and over and over!

Loving the last few posts with pics, good job !!
Fished a small lake on Sunday for largemouth throwing a black/blue jig with a black/blue Uncle josh trailer. Ended up hooking 9 and landing 5 with the biggest being a 7.1 pound female! Fun day, heading back up Friday. Mike.
TRAFFIC!!! I was driving east on I-90 on Sunday and saw the deadlock back-up....Waved to a couple of you guys. I was amazed at how long the back up was!!

Went out to Potholes on Tuesday (Spring Break) for a couple hours, caught a nice 4 1/2 Lb Smallie and a 3 Lb. with the short amount of time I actually fished. I mainly just ran around the lake looking at temperatures and scouting areas with the Side imaging, saw 3 other boats on the water.
Jon, I catch plenty of small fish. Especially when I have that goofy chartreuse banner on my outboard.
