Lake WA update
Well since it was so darn nice out today I hit WAWA for 3 hours after school and before track. I was fishing by myself and launched out of the Magnuson ramp intending on fishing points in about 15ft of water, but my fishfinder showed a surface temp of 56-57 degrees! I was amazed just a couple weeks ago it was hovering around 51. So I switched gears and threw a spinnerbait in the shallows heading south down the bank since there was a nice little breeze going, and never got bit. Tried the dropshot on Webster point with nothing doing, then had to pull out and go coach track. My next trip will be straight to Newport and the east channel to sight fish with these surface temps in the high 50s! What a beautiful day cant complain since I was out there! I know someday I'll catch my 2nd Lake WA bass :)

Good going PJ its just fun to be out on the water!
I caught some bass out at the pond today it felt like 90
out there so even went swimming with Abby cold but nice
no really big ones but they are definetly waking up from the cold winter
they were slammin the crack jigs today!!!

Fish on monday 8am to12.30 water temp was 51 to52 at I 90 and 53 to 54 in newport. no fish only a wine glass.

Monday and yesterday really helped the water temps and that breeze churned that warm surface water. When I first hit the water it was hovering around 55, but by 2:30 in the afternoon I was seeing nearly 57 degrees. Hope it doesnt rain too hard today, because this weekend we could see fish making nests.
Olmsted you crack head! Right on man I was thinking you guys should be killin em by now. You gotta go catch Timon one on the rod I gave him! I'm gonna be over the 2nd and 3rd of May. Hope your around and everything goes well on your house work. -

I was out sunday and yess newport only has two bass in there right now, one has a score mouth and the other one was just lost and didnt mean to come in there ..lol ..We manage to but together a limit of about 13lbs on the main lake . Points are holding fish from 6-17 ft .. docks that are next to deep water are holding fish , most of flats are still hit or miss IMO but it's worth a few cast with reaction baits . The bites are aggressive so thats a good sign , and for the most part a basser can have a good day on wa wa right now ..we gottm on cranks, rattletraps ,footballs, dropshots , ....wish i out there right now !!
