No go for potholes,I have a 2010 chip and potholes is not on it.

My Navionics Platinum chips in my Lowrance HDS units show Potholes well, and Banks with High Definition contours.  The Lowrance Insight chips or built-in also show both very well.

Navionics is very nice to have and Potholes in HD is on the new ones.

so platinum is the way to go i take it! I 've been looking at humminbirds, maybe ill look into lowrance also.

I have the hotmaps premium card. The card works on Lowrance and Humminbird units.
