  On behalf of the members of Western Bass Club, we had a great time and are looking forward to next years event. We did have descussion at our recent club meeting, we agree on the fact it is a great and fun format. For the number of clubs that are now involved Lake Samamish fishes too small. I have a feeling the greater majority of Western Bass Club members may be willing to hold our Team Tourament on our secondary lake, Lake Samamish.

It was a well run event Jordan, great concept too.  I agree with Joel about meeting fellow WaFisher's. Nice to meet you too, P.J. too.  Should be fun next year no matter where it's at.

Hi Rodney,

That would be great!!! I understand if you don't want to change it since I know you've done that longer than we've done the fishoff. But I agree that anymore than 40 boats get's very crowded on Sammamish.

2 firsts and 1 second, that is domination, and we won by more a quarter of a pound, that is big in most tournaments most are won within a couple ounces. A victory is a victory no matter what I will take it how I can get it. We will dominate you Aaron because this world is made up of sheep and lions, Evergreen is full of Lions and you sir are a sheep.

Its funny the posts pointing out that we had no single team in the top contenders, unless i missed something that has nothing to do with who wins the event, having a single team blow out the competition is awesome and everything, (they actually made up for one of your teams not catching a fish) but that wasn't the point of this tournament, its like having that star basketball player who takes 50 shots a game and scores over 30 points, but your team just never seems to win, some blame the star player for not passing the ball, some blame the supporting cast, however whatever, a loss is a loss no matter how many points the star scores. Big scores are great they make you feel awesome, but in the end of it all wouldn't you rather just win and not worry about putting up big numbers but worry about your teammates and how to get them more involved and scoring as well?

Just a little jab, you guys did win, but it wasn't domination like you would lead everyone to believe. 1 more fish in a hawg hunter boat would have changed the results. This sport has a way of humbling egos, so careful gents. The competition is very close to you.

After reading all of this thread It seems there is a Big Head involved. Its just fishing BOYS!

Billy- it is called ribbing, giving someone a bad time, this tournament is for all the bragging rights, its not about having a 'big head'  Your right it is all about fishing, but when was the last time you didn't give your friends a bad time? 

This event is all about having fun having a good time, nothing is or was ill intended by any of it, if you were involved you would know that. It is probably one of the funnest tournies to see all the clubs working together and working together as a club. 

I would tell you one thing the guys me included that talked the biggest would be the first ones to congratulate whoever won and definetely take the ribbing that followed, because if youre willing to dish it you better be able to take it!

I was thinking the other day how cool it would be to get the other states in the PNW involved in this. Take the top three teams from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana and have a PNW fish off. I know most forlks are probably too busy to fit another event into the year, but the club fish off is a great concept, and it would be cool to see it expand.

Nextg year, when we beat you, I'm hanging signs off overpasses and renting a plane to tow a banner around for weeks.
