The Lakewood Master Bassers (LMB) is a new, small boat, electric motor only bass fishing club

The Lakewood Master Bassers (LMB) is a new, small boat, electric motor only bass fishing club. We realize that not everybody can afford big bass boats, so are unable to compete in tournaments.  The Lakewood Master Bassers is designed for bass anglers with smaller boats who would like to compete in tournaments. We will be having 7 tournaments in Pierce/Thurston County. We have meetings every 1st Wednesday of each month. If you are interested or have any questions please email us at Lakewoodmasterbassers@comcast.net.  Please check out our website www.lakewoodmasterbassers.com and our Facebook page !

Maybe yeah ... We will have to get in touch with Robert and maybe work something out.

looking forward to the mini boat season! getting my coleman crawdad setup in the next few weeks.

So this looks like a blast. My only question is, for those of us that have those big boats with big motors, woul we be allowed to compete in these tournys if the big motorwas never used? I ould love to fish a little tourny on a few of those lakes! It would bring m back to my teens when I would get home from school and slie my 8 foot fiberglass boat into the back of my hatchback mustang and go fishing! I would bungi the hatch down and hang ont the rope on the bow as I drove down the road. Many of those trips ended at Kapowsin.

Kind of sounding like an episode of Joe Dirt, j/k, My son has a Coleman craw dad that we re-worked that would be awesome for this type of event.

You're prolly right. Its just that the next boat I buy is gonna b a 20 footer, not a 10 footer. But this might be worth it. Might have to start thinkin about watching craigslist for a bass tender.

My buddy has a 14' JONBOAT rigged up. I would not think of bringing my boat to any of these as I think it would take away from what they are trying to accomplish here.

Am going to check out the next meeting.  Is looking like a place perfect for me to gain more experience on the water with a good group.

I gotta 12 ft crawdad with down scan and a 55 minn koto you boneheads can use! I want 10% of the winnings.

You sure you can handle a 20'er? Maybe you meant putting the 150 on a 20'er?

Are these one person touranments, or our they team?  I don't have a small boat, but I have a buddy that does.  Great idea!

10% of nothing = free. Sounds like a good deal.

Great idea for an outlet for guys that can't afford the big boats. I am sure it will be just as competitive. I would like to see the idea catch on on the east side of the mtns, but, we just don't have the number of small lakes you guys have. Wish you well and success.

After talking to them yesterday it looks like it will be team events and a 3 fish limit with possible random partner draws for each event to keep it all interesting.
