I'd go to Washington.  Sawyer can be really good, but this early is like super tough.  Most of us start hitting in the pre-spawn about mid to late April on Sawyer.  It's one of those lakes in the Kent/Renton area that are really tough when there is zero vegetation growing.  Later, when it warms a bit, try the shallows on the west side of the lake (shallows).

Washington will be deep still right now, so lean on your electronics for sure.

Thanks dude! Yes on the electronics! I just order the lowrance elite 7hdi gold package. so for the first time ill have something better than the super old old OLD Hummingbird that came on my 1989 bass tracker 1800 tf  LOL  

 

  I think navigating through pot holes will be easier this year!!!

I was on Sawyer today.   Didn't see any green, and didn't touch a smallie either.  Too early in my opinion and I've been fishing the lake on and off for 15+ yrs.

Ive never fished sawyer before, haha as Blandi said I dont start fishing it untill the end of march.

eah... lol im either headin to washington or kapowsin.... havnt decided yet.... watchin the weather and waiting to see the pattern coming through.

Def. use good judgement going to Kapowsin, I hate the tweakers in that area. Hide ANYTHING that may give them reason to bust a window, w/ that being said, its a great lake to fish!

OH HECK YAH Dude! My Dad and I used to pay Andy extra at ericksons to park the truck over night while we night fished.... back in the day (14 yrs ago) when no one was night fishin that lake, well most of the time, before i opened my mouth on the web about how great bass fishin was lol 

 

 But yeah, im still thinkin about it. park the super duty and take the old beat up chevy instead lol
