For those of you with a bow mount (I am sure most of you), if you have an anchor system up front, what are you using? I am new to the boating scene and trying to figure out my options before boat arrives. It seems that a bow mount would limit ones options as most anchor systems I see are ran right out the center of the bow.

I would just run it out the side on the same angle as the motor.  I put one on my boat at a store a couple of years ago just to see what it would look like or if it would work.  I took some pics so once I find them I will try to post them!

Thanks...I haven't found jack on Google images

I have more and different angles if you want more.  Sorry, I forgot I responded to your post!

I hope this helps.  If I did buy and install one I think I would mount the motor and spool case below the deck and cut a hole through the deck for the rope to pass through.  That way it wouldn't take up any deck space.

thanks, that helps. The boat I am getting has a deeper front casting platform, so that will complicate things. It does appear that there are options.
