Gentlemen

We have had some free time with the economy down so it gave us time to “play” in out machine shop with different ideas.

We came up with aluminum trolling motor nut used on Motorguides. We are currently making one for the Minn Kota. I personally got tired of breaking the old ones, made out of plastic.

Here is one of the pictures and styles we make. We also have a “Iron Cross” that we make. We can anodize them in different colors and can also make most reasonable custom models as well.

Let me know if any of you are interested or just any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Mike I like them! Let me know when you've got the minn kota done!
For sure. I really appreciate the feedback.

Price is around 8-9 dollars but they will never break.

Should be real soon. Thanks again.

I want one. Either style is fine, I have an MG........
Sign me up for one too mike!
I'm in for a couple Mike. I'm sure I'll drop one into the drink so I might as well have a spare. I'll just pay you through paypal if you want so let me know.

You need to start making up some molds for lead and plastics. I have need of a jig head mold that might be fun to try.

Cool Shawn. I have thought about that also. I need to buy the software for our mill to make them. I'm sure I can come up with something but the software will make it much easier with the molds.

What styles do you want? The Iron Cross or the Radius style?

Here is my phone number if any of you want to text or call. 253-740-7974.
You had better order 5 or 6! Just joking. Mike I will take an iron cross for the Minn Kota when you get them made up. They look pretty slick!

Alrighty guys. I have ordered the material and it should be here next week sometime.

I wanted to make sure people would buy these things before I spent a bunch of money up front. I have had a lot of people contacting me on these and I really appreciate it.

I have the measurements for the Minn Kota Maxuum. It's for the 101lb and I believe they are the same so that will be easy to make along with the Motorguide you have already seen.

They will be complete soon and I will shoot you a message or call some of you that I already have numbers for.

Thanks again guys,

Nice Mike! I bet if you were to show up to some of the local events with a bundle of these, you would open some eyes. I hate the plastic ones. great idea, sign me up for one for the Motor Guide and the Minn kota. Thanks
We finally got them done and back from Anodize. The next batch will go much faster. We made 2 colors up front, Clear coat and Black. The clear coat looks just like the original Aluminum color. I did show up to the Freeze Your Bass tourney but only for a short time. I gave a few to Mike Bess to look at and he also wanted one for himself. I didn’t have time to stay so I just gave him the 4 variations we had and let him choose which one he wanted.

Jon we can make Red the only problem is I would like to try and get more people to order red. The lot Qty pricing for anodize is ridiculous so more would be better.

Our shop, since the first e-mails, has been slammed with work again. That’s a good thing. We went 14 months without any work to back up to full capacity! Awesome. I am just getting started on getting these things out and available to anyone who wants one. I will be fishing the ABA in March at Banks and will also carry some around with me at the local tournaments.

Thanks again guys for the response and hope to see you all soon.
