Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

It's time again, Evergreen Bass club is hosting the 4th annual FYBB on Samammish Feb. 20, 2010. This has been a great event to get everyone out and get wound up for the new year, come on out and have a good time.
We have a link on evergreenbassclub.com to download the entry form so the next rainy day, fill it out and send it in.
We will have the 3 fish limit again this year, much to the dismay of those that can catch more than that this time of year but it does make for some tense moments at the weigh in.
We hope to see you all out there.

It sounds like my Mad Dirt color. I have it on my web site.
The colors consists of light brown w/ a small amount of crawfish w/ med black flake. I use translucent colors so the light penentrates. It could be very similar.

It is a translucent light brown with black flake, live line lures and jerry's sold this color for years in all of their plastics.

Well,
I'm not familiar with the color to be honest. But, we are a custom plastic bait company and we have always encouraged anglers to give us color to consider. We'll try to match any color on the market. Give a description, as best you can, and we'll try to match it. If you are going to be at the event, I'll bring some over or maybe we can send some over or take a pic and send it along.
Bob let me know if I can help you in anyway.
Are you going to fish the event or just be available to help out at the table?

Actually it more resembles the color of my blinker fluid! You could probably find some at your local NAPA

A little more than a week away, who is going to predict a winning weight?
I think it's going to take 11 lbs. this year. Water is probably 6-8 degrees warmer this year and most of the docks are out of the water, including the launch ramp docks. Looking forward to seeing lots of you there.
im gonna say 12.30lbs (3fish) ... Bigfish will be a 5lbs !
Let's face it, the fishing this winter has been outstanding for a lot of people on Sammamish. If we get weather conditions like last year's tourny, I predict at least half the field will weigh a limit. It is Sammamish so most of these limits will be 6-9lbs, but I say somone will catch 11.25lbs! If the weather is nasty I will predict that if you weigh a limit, you cash a check...Just like every tourny on Sammamish big fish should be between 4.5-4.8lbs. Furthermore, I predict that Delay/Potter will finish dead last, because I'm gonna sore-mouth all their fish on Friday. Can't wait for this!!!
That sounds kind of risky considering how long you like to sit on your one spot.
Last year you guarded those fish for hours before Mike and I came over and caught 3 in 15 minutes.
Did you beat us last year? Or Walter Bell and I the year before? Or Ron and I the year before that?
Prediction: No answer

I am thinking about comming over and doing this tournament. What is a decent place to stay that is safe so I will still find all my gear in the boat the next morning?
I am not to familiar with Issaquah hotels, maybe google some and see what they offer. The zip code for the area is 98027. Hope this helps. Where are you coming from?
