I don't understand why everyone say bass don't eat topwater on westside and bass don't eat jerkbait on westside and only eat these bait on the eastside. I am confusing. A bass is a bass. Might be just in the mind. Bass eat jerkbait and topwater in Japan. Bass eat jerkbait and topwater in United States. Bass eat topwater and jerkbait everywhere. That like saying bass don't eat dropshot and wacky jig in United States.

Dropshot for sure! It would be cool to hear about the different ways you fish it and when and under what conditions you use each technique.

I'd also like to hear about how you pitch jigs =) and how you go about dissecting cover. Also what baits you pitch under what conditions

Jerkbaits are a mystery to me, besides the 78 Pointer I have a hard time catching fish on em on the westside. If you could talk a little about that it would be cool

I am with Joel a Jerkbait setup and a little insight on that technique would be very helpful for me! The Dropshot is something I just need to fish more to gain confidence with it. I have an idea of how to fish it and it can be used pretty much anywhere accept very thick cover. Your cranking setups would be interesting for me since I have not thrown them a ton either, and am just exploring the Deep diving cranks as of late.

Dropshot can be use in thick cover too. Heavy line like spectra braid and heavy hook make rig call flip shotting. Very good technique for heavy cover fishing and weed matted fishing. Different way to present bait to pressure fish in heavy cover. Work really nicely for catching the big ones.

I like the idea of hearing more info on the dropshot, just because it is such a useful tool around our area. One thing that I would love to hear is how you approach each day. When you wake up and see what the weather is doing, what time of year it is, what stage the fish are in, how do you formulate a plan for that day? I just dont have a clue how to break down all the small things to put together a game plan for the day, or at least a good place to start. I know that a bobber and worm is the obvious go-to, but I need to know when to bust out the 12" swimbait.
I should try that some time... sounds like a beast of a technique!!!

Hey Ron how about teaching us alittle about the Neko rig and Nail heads in general. Thanks
I would like to hear about the Neko - thicker baits (Senkos) vs. thinner profile baits, hook/ weight types etc. I would also be interested in hearing about glide baits - like the Berkley Beast. Jig vs Glide baits - when to use which, gear variations etc. How about Carolna rig to Split shotin - the various similarities and differences...
I will be there with a guest, looking forward to it.

Tim
Hi Guys,

Really looking forward to the seminar. I have received confirmation from a number of reps of giveaways and raffle items including Berkley, Okuma, Tro-Kar hooks, Sniper, KGM, to name a few.

Also, be on the lookout for some big discounts on gear and rods. Most notably, ALL SHIMANO CRUCIAL BASS RODS WILL BE MARKED 50% OFF!!! .

I should have some more information on sales and discounts Thursday.

One more thing I can tell you is that 3 Rivers just got in their big fat spring bass gear order and will be geared up for just about anything you need in your arsenal. Some of the new additions include Sebile, Jackall, increased Yamamoto section, increased Lucky Craft section, Koppers Live Target, Spro 6" BBZ, and BBZ shads and more!

See you guys there.

Not sure, I know they had one last time I was in but you never know.

Also just found out that they will be providing free hot dogs and pop at the seminar. If nothing else, swing by for free lunch!

Jordan,
I was in 3-rivers yesterday, and didn't see much new on the Koppers line. Are you guys planning on getting any more Perch or carrying crawfish pattern Koppers in? I picked up some of the new yamamoto baits, and was impressed of the growing selection! Keep up the good work!
