Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

So I got my brother and pops to head out for a morning of fishing today.  I wanted to be able to put them on some fish so we headed out to Tapps.  We had been fishing for a few hours and were working a small strech of deep docks.  As we pulled away a older lady comes running down the path and out onto her dock yelling at us.  I'm thinking, "great, I'm gonna have to yell at an old woman."  She flags us down and I motor over to her.  She says, "sorry to bother you fellas, but I took some great pics of you guys fishing, would you like me to email them to you?"  I was shocked.  I said yes and thanked her multiple times.  I kinda wondered if she would actually send them or not and when I got home and checked my email I got my answer.  She sent me 6 pictures, one of which I am gonna frame and put in my "man room."  It was awesome to see someone nice, rather than pissed because you are "near" their dock.  We caught some decent fish too.

P.S.  Dez, I'm heading to Michigan for a week, hopefully I'll have some pics of some hogs when I return

So... what else did the old lady offer you boys????? Cookies??? or any other GOODIES???

Seriously though it is always good to here about nice home owners that actually like fishermen.

Thats a good thing Zach. Good to hear that the homeowners are not po'd at the fishermen. There are quite a few good people out there.
You are easily confused.

As for the Michigan trip LMK what part your of the state you will be visiting, im sure i can offer a few tips and suggestions bud ...
Dez,
Just got back yesterday. It was a family reunion trip so my area to fish was limited. We were staying in Hale, kinda close to the Standish area. My wifes grandparents have a place on a small semi-private lake called Little Long Lake. The fishing was tougher than last year, but I did get some decent fish. Seemed like it was much harder to find the quaility fish this year, the largest I got was just under 4 pounds. I sight fished for the most part casting flukes and senkos. The last day I was there I broke off 2 fish that were over 5, I left the lake pretty pissed. I caught a few pike too, but broke off 6 in the evenings/nights throwing rage toads over shallow weedy bays. Fun trip, I have a few things in mind to take next year to get at the bigger fish.
Ron,
She did give us some "cookies" as a matter of fact. She wasn't the best looker in the world but she made up for it with her enthusiasm and willingness to experiment. Sorry Mike
