Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Mine is crankin'.  I can't seem to really dial this in.  I'm a huge flippin' and soft plastics kind of a guy.  When it comes to crankbaits, I know you can just throw and crank, but I know there is supposed to be more to it.  Colors, size, different wobbles???  Thats just confusion to me, but I keep at it and some day I'll get it.

Anyways, what do you think your worse technique is when bass fishing?

I sometimes forget to put sun screen on.
My biggest weakness is to be patient. I tie on so many lure sometime to try something new if the bass do not want to bite. I need to take a big breathe and be patient.

Tag did not your mother tell you would go blind from that? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
deep water
I would love to spend more time throwing a shakey head and a chatterbait. I haven't ever found a time when the shakey head prevails above anything else, but I know that alot of the elite pro's use the shakey head as a go to. Same with the chatterbait.
Blondes! After that sightfishing, I can honestly say I have only caught fewer than 5 fish that I have ever seen first.
As well as your pants.

Chater bait and lipless. The lipless is getting better for me but would love to be better at everything
Redheads!! Swim baits - I just need to put down everything else and focus on these for awhile.

i'm with you on the lipless.. i think until last year the only thing i ever hooked one was a carp..
but then again i don't throw it..
i have yet to throw swimbaits too.. that is my goal for next year.

I would talk most of you out of swimbaits, unless you have deep pockets ;-) They do pay off now and again though.
Drop-shotting. Finesse fishing is difficult for me, because I am not real patient. Light Line, finesse fishing is my biggest weakness. I am way more confident with 12-25 lb test either cranking, or heavy cover fishing.
