If you throw traps on the river during the summertime you will hook two at a time every once in a while. They rarely both end up in the boat though.

Ive had it happen a few times, mostly rattle traps. Here is one from like two weeks ago on a big gunfish, two largemouths...

his reapers are amazing for carolina riggin, his finesse worms i think are way softer than Zooms or Berkleys

Its one bait, the top fish somehow got wrapped up in the line, the 2nd fish nailed the tube.

Great picture, except for the fact that both fish might weigh a combined 1.16lbs! I mean look at the gunfish to bass ratio! LOL. Just givin' you some crap Nicky, I've never done that.

Now show me two of them big dogs you've been getting out of there on one bait and you've got something.

OK, Mike and I were fishing an ABA tournament on Lake Washington when we caught a triple. He had a 4 pound smallmouth on a crankbait, and at the same moment I hooked up as well. He is yelling for the net, so I keep tension on the rod with one hand, and scoop his bass with the net, then swing the net over to the other side of the boat and scoop up the 4 and 3.75 pound smallmouths on the two hooks of my crankbait. We had almost 12lbs of smallmouth in 30 seconds, and all three bass in the net at the same time. And yes, we did win that tournament, but the moment was much more exciting.
