Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hey all,

In the previous post, the idea has come up about having a fish in for those of us on the east side of the state. Of course everyone can come, but for some of us it is a little difficult to make it to Washington or Sammamish. So here are a couple of questions:

1. Who would be interested in attending ?
2. Who has suggestions for places and times?

Let's sound off and see what you all think.

Dave, like i had mentioned earlier i will be there for sure. the obvious lakes would be banks, moses, potholes. that would be neutral for us in spokane and others in the tricities area. if there is enough interest there are some great lakes here closer to spokane area, but im willing to go whereever. i think it would be great to meet and fish with new people, like brian has mentioned. thanks for the great idea and i'll be interested to see how it goes. Wes
If I have the weekend open, I'd make the trip over to hang out.

Same here. It all depends on the weekend.
Me too, especially if it is Potholes or Moses. Not too interested in coming to Banks when there are bigger bass anywhere else.

ciao,
Marc
Well I'm up for any of them if the weekend works out but Potholes or Moses would be the top prospects in my book.
I'm on the West Side but would love a chance to hit Potholes.
Looking at the current 2009 WDFW Bass and Walleye Schedule, it doesn't appear that there are any tournaments scheduled for Potholes until April 18th. So, maybe something in late March?

Here is a link to the current WDFW Tournament Schedule:

Potholes looks pretty busy from April through September. The state park fills up fast for the later months, but Mardon might have some spots for camping, etc.

Potholes would work for me and its fun to fish, but i would be willing to go else where suchs as some of the Spokane lakes. So count me in, just give me some notice.
Whoever wants to take this by the reigns, go ahead. Let me know a few weeks in advance and I'll see what I can do to get some product to give away too.
Lets go to Long lake in Spokane
Aren't there hidden rocks in Long Lake that you need to know about so you don't kill your lower unit? If we don't know the lake is that going to be safe?

long lake is pretty safe. there is a sand bar to be aware of but its easy. other than that most of the rock piles are showing unless you go up the river. not alot of people fish that part and im not too sure about the hazards up there. If we decide to go there i'll share the info with everyone. Wes
