I'll start with four. My four is based on the fisheries quality, quantity, diversity, community and the overall personal enjoyment.
1. Potholes
2. Banks
3. Moses
4. Tri Cities
P.J, I'll agree that Whatcom and Washington are good fisheries. They won't make my list because they don't check the box for "overall personal enjoyment". I can no longer tolerate the the community and homeowners around either of those lakes. This is why my list excludes westside fisheries.

5. Columbia River. A couple pools come to mind but all the pools I've fished are pretty darn good!

How often do you have bad experience with homeowners on Samm and Wa? Only reason I ask is I fish those two lakes a lot and have only had maybe 4-5 “altercations.” Usually have people ask what Im fishing for or why I just released a nice fish. Ive actually had more altercations on the small electric only lakes around king county.
List:
potholes
columbia below mcnary
moses
Wa
Samm
Or have to deal with the boat launches (the fee's, boaters who don't know what they are doing, crowds) and other watersports during the summer. I also enjoy those lakes for the fishing but find myself fishing them less due to these factors.
The Lake Whatcom and Samish "Invasive Species" program is a huge turn off (and joke) as well.
Sammamish State park does not cater to or even work with bass fisherman anymore so I hardly fish their either though the fishing can be phenomenal.

I agree with the crowds Nick, dont fish those two much in the summer months.
Although, pulling your boat out and having lunch in the parking lot can be very entertaining
Zach,
Enough that I have pretty much quit fishing the westside lakes. I would rather drive 4-5 hours to spend my time and MONEY on the eastside fisheries. Soooooooooooo much more enjoyable.

4 or 5 too many. I had an altercation at Potholes this year... With a beaver.

If I'm basing it on personal enjoyment I'd say:
1. Potholes
2. Moses
3. Banks
4. Columbia - Tri-Cities/McNary
5. Roosevelt
If I'm going purely based on the fishery and biggest weights I'd probably sub out Banks and Roosevelt for Whatcom/Washington.
Tournament Fishing:
1. Potholes
2. Banks
3. Moses
4. Umatilla
5. Tri-Cities
Fun Fishing:
1. Potholes
2. Umatilla
3. Moses
4. Tri-Cities
5. Any small largemouth lake
