Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

With 2012 coming on fast what are your resolutions/goals for the new year?

I plan on fishing with as many new people as possible.

Making the state team through the TBF would be great.

The biggest goal for me is learning as much as possible and hopefully not make as many mistakes as I did this year! I left a lot on the lake this year and won't dwell on the negatives but I could have done better.
Look forward to 2012.
Happy new year to you all.

get on the water more than 4 or 5 times this year.

a new(er) bigger boat to fit all the kids!

maybe fish acouple tourney's and learn somethin new

get back in the game that ive been outta for so long!

- Let the little things go and enjoy my kids and my life even more

- Increase time on the water knowing that is the true way for me to improve

- Finally gain confidence in throwing a jig

- Over 5#11oz largemouth

- Over 4#5oz smallie

Funny I never threw jigs, for years i never had the confidence in them till i said screw it, one rod only acouple jigs, and thats all im taking to silver lake, took 3 trips till i got my first fish, but after that day....... i always keep a jigs and craws handy. give it time dude! there my favorite for big fish!!!!!

1. Fish more often ( is that even possible for me )

2. Catch a quality LM before the middle of February, tomorrow would be nice.

3. Beat my PB smallie of 5-12, and not while fishing a LM technique.

4. Get into the 9 lb LM territory, or bigger, god know's I've seen em.

5. Win a club tourny.

6. Get Susan to fish more than a half dozen times in 2012.  Have her throw a hudd too LOL

As I look back, made a lot of mistakes and regret them all. Hope to make amens and be a better supporter of the WAfish site. Want to be more involved as an angler and bait maker. I want to always remember those that stood by my side and encouraged me to keep going. I will not let C. Simon affect me and will always think good of him, regardless. I do wish him well. I hope to be able to contribute much more to the site and all its events.
