Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

hey everyone, i just joined this site a few days ago and its sweet. im coming over from spokane for the samm tourney and ive never fished the lake before. i was told to be aware of the stump field on the south end. is there anything else i need to know about to keep my boat in one piece? Also, im coming over that tuesday and staying in maple valley with a friend, is there a place that is close to get tackle if i need it? thanks for the help. Wes

Auburn Sports and Marine for your tackle. http://www.auburnsportsmarineinc.com/
Lake Samm can be very difficult this time of year... Good luck. Three Rivers Marine in Woodinville has a few things too.
Nice man, thats a fun tournament not necessarily because the fishing is dynamite, but because of how well it is run. The guys at evergreen bass club do a great job serving breakfast and having warm chowder when we get back. Also the raffle is awesome. It's the only tournament that I've been to that has the infamous "bucket of love". You'll just have to see unless Brian form Panic Minnow wants to explain...

In regards to the submerged logs, they are surrounded by "caution" buoys. You'd be hard pressed to miss the boundary line. Just stay away from that small area of the lake and you'll be fine. Fishing wise, find a point, it likely has rocks on it, and start fishing. Fish can be spread out from 30-55' this time of year.

See you there man. Come say hi!

Hey Wes; First thanks for your insight on chain lakes question. Lake Sammamish has a sunken forest on the south west side about a mile north of boat launch. Other than that thers nothing to worry you, just make sure to get off plane inside no wake bouys. I'm a member of the host club. Come and say hi. Phil Johnson.
hey man this was a post from last year!
