Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hello everyone.

I just move here from Cali!  It is so cold here and I cant wait to go fishing.  I bought my license yesterday.  I am still new here, so I hope to learn a few things from get togethers and the pros on this site.  Hope to make a few friends, and go fishing soon.

Beth

PS where can I get some Senkos around here, Walmart doesn't have the colors I like.

Welcome to Washington Beth. If there is a certain color bait that I cant find, I typically will purchase over the internet, but I do like to keep my dollars local. If you are living in the seattle/North Seattle area, I'm sure 3 rivers marine can take care of your senko needs. They have plenty. They also have sniper soft plastic stick baits which seem to be popular with the finest fisherman in washington state.
Beth Welcome to WAfish and the state for that matter. I think I saw on your page your are in Renton, so I would check out Auburn Sport and Marine. They have a killer tackle selection there with plenty of Senkos. 3 Rivers is my shop of choice and they have it all, but like Jake said they are up north. It would be worth the trip up to 3 Rivers on the 21st I believe they are having a tackle sale and some of the Dobyns Rod reps will be there to talk and demo some of the products.
Auburn Sports and Marine in Auburn and 3 Rivers Marine will have all that you need. I saw that you are in Renton also. There are plenty of lakes nearby that you can get decent fish out of. Let me know if you have any questions. Are you shorebound or have a boat/float tube ?
(senkos) you can get senkos at cabelas in lacey auburn sports and marine auburn sportco in fife.
Hi Beth,
you are the cutest bass fisher person i have ever seen. If you need help with protection from these Wa Fish guys you just let me know. Yes it is cold here. I am a San Diego native but moved here in 1994. It may take a while but you will thaw out and your skin will turn white. Go see Chris at Auburn Sports Marine. Have him school you on the Sniper Balistyx. Get on www.sniperlures.com, drop me a line or 2 and i will introduce you to the Sniper line of hand poured plastics. These Wa Fish guys are all great people ............... welcome.

Hi fellas,

It's seems I have crashed my inbox, and dont know how to retrieve the messages, could you all please resend so I can respond. I am at work right now, but I will respond tonight.

GREAT SITE!
You can get Senkos just about anywhere except Wal-Mart. There are 2 really good colors that work for me, 301 for Large mouth and 221 for small mouth. Can't go wrong with those colors. I make my own Senkos. Its kinda fun to make your own colors and sink rate. Anyways, Welcome and if you have any questions just ask, There are a lot of really cool people on this site.
Beth you left Cali????? You are sooo lucky to get out of here. This state sucks more by the day. You'll make friends easy in WA. Best of luck fishing.
Hey, if you like senkos, my buddy Dean as one for you. Mind you its a big one. Does size matter?
Hi again.

I don't know what color works best here, but I guess that will be my next question. I will definitely try to make it up to those shops everyone has suggested. Most of the time I am dock / shore bound, unless I go with my friend Amy. She is my roommate and I bug her constantly to go fishing. We both have float tube things, and a small boat but those were mainly used in warmer weather.

I am by far the non cutest, as I am still single. So I dunno how that works out, but thanks! I will for sure send you a message. To those others who sent me one, please send it again, something is wrong with my inbox.

As far as the innuendo goes... HI DEAN! ... and yes fellas to answer your question to the age old question, size does matter it just depends on what context you are asking.

I hope to do some catching with a bunch of you soon, I just have to wait until the weather warms up a little bit. BURRRRrrrr.
Ok Im convinced, she's legit.
