Austin I bought a Lamiglas Excel 703 medium Dropshot/Shaky rod last year and I found it to be exceptional for fishing 4 and even 5 in Senkos weightless. It does double as my heavier cover Dropshot rod as well. Lamiglas says the 704 is the one designed for Senkos because it has the extra power but I have not had a problem catching good largemouth and smallmouth on the 703 even around brush and willows. The 703, since it's a 7' can throw a Senko a mile and it is the most sensitive rod I have fished Senkos on I can feel the lightest pickups. If you are fishing in or around a lot of vegetation or wood I would say listen to Lamiglas and go with the 4pwr or more of a MH but if you can get away with it the 703 is a great rod for light plastics and Senkos. I have it coupled with an Okuma Hardstone spinning reel and 14lb Fireline Smoke. I have essentially been fishing this same setup for Senkos and Light T-rigs since I started Bass fishing 6-7 yrs ago. The only thing that is different now is I went from a 6'6'' rod to a 7' and 10lb braid to 14lb braid. I have probably caught more fish on this setup than any other!!! Plus for the money the Lamiglas Excel series is nice $100 rods made in the USA, Lifetime warranty & split grips...
