Sure, just go ahead and discriminate against Pat and Cris. Your so mean Bill.
As to insurance, I use an agent out of Stockton CA, I found on Westernbass.com. They write policies specifically for tourney guys. Can write the policy to cover as much or little as necessary. IE, extra expensive electronics. Guys with huge amounts of tackle they want covered, you get the idea. They were extremely helpful when I blew up my motor and needed to borrow a boat to fish a qualifier 2 yrs ago. I was on the road from Banks lake to Spokane to pick up a borrowed boat from Conrath's. ( thanks again Dan ). Was able to get the insurance coverage transferred to the boat I borrowed, and have them fax it to Dan all from a cell phone on the road. Now that's customer service. Rates are reasonable.
Send me a message if you want more details.

The reason for my question. I have been with State Farm for 20 years on my Bass Boats. I get a call today
from my agent telling me State Farm will not pay if I fish tournaments and that has been their policy for some time.
I use Progressive also because of they have a stated value policy that also covers me during tournaments. I can't tell you how well they handle claims because I have never had one; I do like that my deductible keeps getting lower each year for whenever I should need a claim.
Next time I need insurance I would call Rob Tobeck (www.theoutdoorline.com) as he is an insurance broker that specializes in boat insurance.
ciao,
Marc
Ouch,
Glad you didn't have an issue and find out the hard way. It funny you mention state farm, as I have them for home and auto and my agent gave me a boat quote not to long ago and failed to mention that part. Probably because he didn't know.
