Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

The first of many WAFISH.COM Fish-Ins will be this Sunday the 8th on Lake Washington. All members and friends are welcome to participate.

We will meet at 8:00am at the Mercer Island Boat Launch under I-90 bridge. This will provide some shelter if it rains on us and plenty of parking. Free to all who attend! There should be plenty of back seats available so not to worry if you don't have a boat. We'll find a spot for you!

The contest: There will be prizes for the biggest smallmouth and biggest trout both by length. All entrees must have a picture with the fish on a bump board or ruler of some sort. Such as:

Big Bass Prizes are:
1st Place: A case of Wired Energy Drinks and a Wave Worms Tackle Pack.
2nd Place: A case of Wired Energy Drinks
3rd Place: A Wave Worms Tackle Pack

Trout Prize:
1st Place: A case of Wired Energy Drinks

We also have a number of prizes to give away from Pure Fishing, Wave Worms, and Wired Energy Drinks for attending!

We'll determine the end time at the launch pending weather conditions. Reply to this post or PM me to let me know if you'll make it out.

I'm excited to meet all you in person!

Ok, I'm all in on Sunday. I will have a full boat though, with two of my best friends Rob Maglio and Russ Baker fishing out of the Nitro. So sorry no extra room. We will launch from Coal creek and see you boys over on the other side.

OK, looking at these post, I can really fit 4 on my boat, yes it has four seats, however fishing four comfortable is a different question, but if it comes down to leaving someone on the shore or not, I will fit one more on the boat.

Mark,
Thanks for being a team player man. I'm maxed out at 3 tomorrow on my 186 skeeter too. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. I'll be at the launch at 7:30am!
Sparky, I fish Lake washington all the time with a tracker. It can be tough in the wind, but there's places to hide around Mercer Island. I need to take you and BMD out one of these days.
A little tracker is just fine for WA. Now is the time to go, not as many idiots to worry about. I used to fish WA in a 9 foot with a 3.3 horse, coulon fishing halfway to I-90. Anyway, have fun guys. I might make it out if I can get a new cranking battery in the morning.
I hope yall have a great time and wish I could be there to finally meet most of ya. But I will be there in spirt and I am sure I will hear all about it. So best of luck to you all and hope you like the baits we put together for ya. We will do it again soon and I will be there hopefully with my boat working by then.
