Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Just wondering where some of you guys get some of your tackle? I get my chatterbaits, some jigs and spinnerbaits from Karu Lures online. For most of my shakey heads, football heads and skirted jigs, I go through Tourney Jigs. Both have been very productive for me with credit for my bigger fish over the last year. Not saying these lures are the best, they just caught my eye and so I go with them. I never thought confidence was a word that held so much importance when it came to fishing until I started to really think about it and how critical it is while your working any type of bait. Now, if I dont have confidence I get too impatient or stop paying attention and sort of drift off into other thought patterns and end up missing bites.
Just curious and looking for options on different suppliers.
Thanks

Almost 100% of mine are from tacklewarehouse.com. They have the best customer service and free shipping over $50. Not too hard to get over $50 with the swimbaits. basstackledepot.com is good too, this one and many others have followed TW on the free shipping. Personally, I wouldnt even consider an online spot without free shipping. Only thing i have ever bought from cabelas is a reel, cuz it came with free shipping, hahaha. And basspro took 2+ weeks to get me 2 spinnerbaits, so that doesnt happen anymore.

Anywho, check out TW and BTD, they have basically anything someone would need for bass.

Yea Daniel, free shipping is definitely something I look for. I no longer go through Cabela's, especially now with the inclusion of sales tax. BPS still gets some of my money but not much. I try to shop at the local stores like OE, 3RM and Ted's to keep it in the neighborhood but there are alot more choices online to keep me an online consumer.
I prefer to buy local whenever possible. I think it is very important that we support our local tackle stores like 3 Rivers Marine, Auburn Sports & Marine, Holiday Sports in Burlington, etc.

With that being said, there are still many items that are not yet available in the Northwest. For my online shopping, I prefer Tackle Warehouse, LandBigFish.com and Bass Tackle Depot. There are certain manufacturers that do not sell their products through distribution, so you must purchase directly from their website.
Absolutely, I would rathe rbuy from the little guy instead. There really isnt any good spots for my style aroond here, so Im kinda forced to go online.
I have been trying to spend a little more at Auburn Sports this year. They carry a good selection and if you ever see the GREAT Chris Ferry he'll usually flip a discount card at you ( at least to me :P ) Tackle Warehouse is awesome, and BTD has been ok, they did get a couple items wrong for me lately, but they're fixing it. Most of the stuff I buy online are items I can't get local, or are at a substancial savings. I've also done a little shopping at Monstertackle and landbigfish.
I'll make it up to 3Rivers eventually Jordan haha.
Ive had good online experiences with:

tacklewarehouse
basstackledepot
monsterfishingtackle
fishermanswarehouse
histacklebox
ichibantackle
japantackle
japanprofishing

I'll ebay once in a while if im wheelin n dealin or fishing for JDM stuff.

Local shops that have been good to us are 3riversmarine (course!) and sportsmans warehouse. Unfortunately they rarely have what I am looking for but such is the state of bass fishing in the NW.
Throw another one on the board for Tackle Warehouse, that is if I can't get it from 3 riv.
i too try to buy as much local as possible. auburn sports and marine is a great place to stock up on stuff. i love tacklewarehouse and had had good experiences with basstackledepot. ordered swimbaits from them before a tourney and they were out of stock, guy called me up and asked what i was using them for and ended up giving me some baits that were actually more than the ones i purchased for the same price.

Like Tag said, I try to buy from the local guys as much as possible, especially now when they need the business. I buy almost everything from 3 rivers marine. They will hook ya up! and when i can't get it from there i buy from tacklewarehouse. I used to buy from landbigfish but have gotten screwed too many times and they don't make it right when they mess up so thumbs down on them....
