Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

So there really hasn't been any talk on this one yet.  With this cold snap what do you guys think.  Easier or tougher.  Personally I'm glad we had the cold snap.  It will move more fish to their wintering area's earlier.  Went out 2 weeks ago and got 4 fish in the boat scattered from 30 to 56 ft.

My guess winning weight 14.7 lbs with 4 fish.

I am still hoping to fish this with O'Connell. It just depends on his work schedule. I would bring my boat out, but I am without electronics at the moment, so I wouldn't even attempt it. Hopefully we will see you out there.
Looking forward to it guys. I think the winning weight will be mid 13's. How about a role call for who's showing up?
I will be there fishing with Brian Calvert. I agree that it will take in the 13-15 lb. range to win but if I catch a fish I will be more than happy!! Looking forward to it and I will see you all next Saturday!
My father, and I will be there. I also know of one other team that will be there that isn't part of wafish.
I will be there hoping to have some fun and do better than I did at the last Wa Fish tourney at Sammammish in May.
Larry and I will be there !
I went out this past sat & sun to pre fish and all i can say is that i hope things change out there fast or plan on lots of single fish per team ..lol
I dont know man , maybe its all me but i hit some of my best stuff and im still not feeling very confident in a solid pattern, if nothing else i atleast know what depth too fish but thats all i could come up with :-(
i look forward to the raffle and seeing a few faces , its still all in fun right ?

This is a great way to come out, and support this site! It's a no entry tournament for goodness sakes! It's kind of disapointing there isn't a lot of interest as of yet. At least come, and drop by the raffle if your affraid of getting your panties cold! Wafish can't continue to grow without adaquate funding, so how about a little support! It's winter fishing, and anything can happend. If you've never fished this lake this time of the year, or you suck, and need advice P.M me! I just wan't to see a good turnout, and have a good time.

I thought this was "YOUR LAKE" HA HA This is such a cop out so if you don't catch anything you can say that "I told you so", but I will remember if you do catch anything I am going to call you LUCKY!

BTW its time to find some stuff better than your 'best' Hopefully you atleast eliminated some water. The other thing is hopefully somebody else's good stuff is not your good stuff....

Have to play with you a little, I have the best cop out, to not fish this event.......Company Christmas Party Cruise I have to be at before 3.....Who has a Xmas party at 3, anyhow?
Well, I will have to also pass on this one. I didn't even know about the event until recently, and my schedule is already planned. The front page of the bass group has the 2009 WAFish tourney advertised, but I don't see one for the 2010 event. Guess I spent too much time fighting Loon-atics and not enough time reading WAFish.

I'll catch the next one. Have fun out there!

ciao,
Marc
I bet we'll have 20+ boats again this year, should be a good day. Plus, there is always the "Weird Fish" mystery pot again!

3:00pm? What a lame party, you better pre-funk to get through that one.
I bet someone gets lucky like I did last year and gets a nice fat 4+ Smallie!!! Wish I could be there too but I have a work engagement at 10am, sadly it's not a party cruise like Ron's but there will be some free goodies and chances to make some good contacts. I passed up on it last year to fish and have decided to alternate as longs as the tournament is held on the same weekend every year. I would say 12lbs wins it... I am planning to stop by and check out the weigh in and raffle. I'm game to help out if you need anything let me know Jordan!!!
I would be going but am going to my old hs football game. They are playing for the state title for the 4th time in as many years and are 3-0 the last three years. They have the one of the top receivers in the nation that will be going to UW next year.
