Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I was out pre-fishing Moses all weekend. I ran up North because I had never been up in that area. The farther north I drove, the more clumps of crud I saw. While fishing I could see mud clumps floating up to the surface, coming up from the bottom. At times I could always see at least one clump floating up. What the hecks the deal ? The North end will likely get pretty murky when those clumps break apart from all the boat traffic or wind I'd imagine. Is this normal for the lake ??

I was there this weekend too chris and fished it for a few hours and noticed its a lot muddier than I have seen it in May. They are really playing with the water levels this year. That may have something to do with it? They overfilled potholes because of a couple 85 degree days a while back expecting they would need the water for irrigation and they haven't. So now its higher than it's been in my lifetime.

Not all the way north, but maybe 2-3 miles down, all you see is clumps, its almost solid. Freakin nasty, just wondering what the deal is. lol

The clumps were small when I was there a couple of weeks ago. I have no idea what they are exactly or why they float up and I am practically a genius.
