Hey guys, Thanks a million for all the feedback. I can definetly see the benifits of both the aluminum boats and the glass boats. I have been asking all these questions to myself for awhile now. I now have been fishing alot of little lakes but just want to be able to fish lakes such as Sammy, Lake WA, Tapps, Alder, Riffe comfortably. I do like the durablility of the aluminum boats and that's where I've been leaning, there's just enough though for me to question. Anyway, Thanks again for the help.

I have a truck that can tow so thats not an issue, and I fish all kinds of big and small lakes and some tourneys. Looking for some that can do a little of everything. What advice would you give to someone possible looking at something like a used 1991 Ranger or a newer bass tracker... which would you go with and why ?
jeff priester has my old 1998 Ranger R82 which would be a perfect boat for you. and it was well kept by me as well as the guy that bought it from me in 2004. get on Nixon's Marine site and take a look at it. Also Jeff has a red bass Tracker tourney that is very nice. maybe a little pricy but decked out at 15 g but it is very new.

Hey Dan its funny you said that, I emailed him yestarday about your old boat. I'm interested but I think the most I could afford right now is around $10, 000. With the economy being where it is how low do you think he would go? Also I have a trade-in, the boat isnt worth much, but its got a nice 90hp Merc. Do you think he would consider that as a trade-in?
