knock off's are the american way... monopoly's are illegal. Ford, Chevy.... burger king, mcdonalds.... wal-mart, k-mart.... basstrix, rainfish.... if people would just sell quality products for a reasonable price there would be no competition and we could all live happy... "YAMAMOTO" best stick bait ever... way to expensive but time and tournament tested for sure...but your average guy can't buy them.... so here comes the Yum Dinger!

lol sorry for the off topic blurb on capitalism...

Basstrix knockoff

I dig Jerrys Tubes, for the money, quality and quantity you get, you just can't beat em.  A more diverse color range would be great but they have a few different colors to choose from.

I may be wrong but I think that Vision tackle makes that Basstrix knockoff, rainfish is the color.  I have some Vision tackle plastics, more of a ghost color scheme though, I like them just as much as the Basstrix.

Yes, made by Vision tackle. I never fished basstrix before, but plan on it this upcoming spawn.

Speaking of Clearwater, does anyone or yourself know where I can find these?

I come across them every now and again but only one or two select. in colors,

I love their baits!

Outlaw is out of Oregon and they make good tubes, you also have Clearwater in Idaho who makes great handpours, and Snakebite is out of Idaho and they make some great stuff. Dry Creek is now offering awesome colors of smallie beaver style baits and I think that company is out of Idaho or Oregon.

I could be wrong, but, to my understanding Clearwater has chosen to go the wholesale route and/or will sell direct but you must buy in bulk. On my last marketing trip some bait shops were phasing Clearwater out. I never did get a good reason. I have spoken to Bob Banta, the owner, to see if I could get some lead product and that was when I discovered I could buy bulk only and I mean it had to be some big numbers to do so. I would like to know if anyone else has any inside info on them also.Ryan Lamb said:

I would ask Rick at Quest Pro Tackle.  He had Clear Water make a run of tape worms for them.  They are great baits, but really expensive, something like 25 bucks for a 50 pack.

That doesn't sound very expensive, if my math is correct it would be like buying a pack of 10 for 5 bucks.  Seems pretty competitive.

I guess when you look at it that way, it doesn't seem quite so bad.  LOL.

Results compliments price! Should always be the rule of thumb.
