No, I only buy one every five years.
Just kidding, I was testing a few swimbaits from the bank at a little 20 acre lake by my house last year and a game warden came by and checked me. First time ever. She was pretty nice though and said she was going to look me up the next day in the computer and if I had gone and gotten one she wouldn't mail me a ticket.
I bought mine earlier in the week, $23.90. I've been hearing that the game warden lady has been really gettin around lately, no punn intended.
Yup, thought they expired at New Years so weve had our for a while.
Yep got everthing a week ago. 88 bucks for fresh salt combo and small game and migratory bird validation. I'd rather get it all at once and not waste time later!
yup order my combo license last night online. so glad i dont have to deal with some 17yr old dude whos never worked the printing machine ever agani.
Thanks Auburn Sports
I got a punch card, small game, freshwater, saltwater, migratory, license and to boot I got a nifty little holder! While I was there I also picked up a few more baits and put in a special order for some cranks I need for later this year at Clear Lake, that I can't seem to find anywhere. Auburn comes through once again.
Got mine yesterday...ready to rock! Wish I lived closer to Auburn Sports. Sounds like they are on the ball. Not much on my side of the water to choose from
Got mine this evening on the way home. Figured out why my wallet was so thick, I had the last three years license still in there. Guess if the warden was really active I might have known.
Picked up my freshwater on Friday night in anticipation of Saturday's outing. Spent 11 hours on the big lake and get back to the launch and the gamie feigning genuine curiosity about the days luck. After disarming me with his phony kindness the real questions came. Which rig was mine, where was my trailer, did I have a parking permit and where was my 09 license. I passed the exam but my buddy overlooked the March 31st exp. date on his 08 license and got nailed for the no license violation. $109 later and a stiff lecture about him not writing him up for the no parking permit ($135) we were on our way. At least the guy only got one ticket and I think its strange that the no license ticket was cheaper than the parking permit.
Expensive day on the water with no fish to show. At least we found water in the 50* range later in the day. Surface temp in water over 30' deep near some sick looking cover.
Nolliver,
If your buddy would have followed the rules you would leave the parking lot thinking he was a nice guy. I don't envy what they do for a living. Can you imagine the knuckleheads they run in to?

Mike, my post was pretty clear so I'm not sure how you missed my point. The guy came out the gate as a real nice feller and in the same breath turned all biz. I don't feel sorry for him or his profession. Life is all about choices and he chose to be a cop and cops deal on a whole different level. No doubt my buddy screwed up and I was the second to tell him that right behind the game officer. I know their deal so why they put on a show is beyond me. Just come right out and say it so I can be on my way. No time for the heat!

After joking about not buying one I actually forgot to get one last week. On Friday I managed to avoid that guy at Sammamish. I saw him go over to talk to some bass fisherman after they pulled out of the water and tied their boat down so I pulled my boat up onto the trailer, pulled it out about two feet, ran around the back and put the transom saver on, and left really quickly before the guy got "chatty" with me. Pretty slick huh :-)
Then I drove straight to Auburn Sports and Marine and got my new license.
Now kiss and make up you two.
