I would not want to be this club, 2 of the 3 reports from the weekend rip them.

They will give Bass clubs a bad name.

Sounds to me like the two posts are from people in the same boat. Perhaps they had a bad experience with the boating of the tournament anglers running the lake, but to assume that bass boat traffic would affect the fishing on a busy lake like Goodwin seems unlikely. Seems more probable that the guys didnt catch what they expected and are looking to hang the blame on the pressure from other anglers, but the fact is we all have to deal with the fishing pressure and boat traffic at every lake we go to. Most tournament anglers are very respectful of others on the water, but in any group there will always be the "individuals" and I hope people will not judge bass clubs, or tournament anglers in general on the acts of a few.

It is an independent club, not affiliated with TBF/FLW or B.A.S.S. there is not much we can do about their alleged bad behavior. But please keep in mind that this is only one side of the story.

It sounds to me like they 2 guys that had an issue with the Bass tournament just plain don't like Bass fisherman period! " Those big noisey boats and fancy lures where everywere"! They need to find another reason blame thier inability to catch fish on! Thats why its called fishing. Its not like Bass fisherman just started fishing Lake Goodwin this year. We have been fishing it for many years and our boats make less noise and waves than any jetski or ski boat. All I have to say is Don't worry innocent trout fisherman, If I don't catch your trout my Big bass is just gonna eat it anyways! Give it up....

Somone is a little over sensitive if they would classify those remarks as "rips"....whining yes but ripping no. Weekend anglers will complain about almost anything anyway.

Just took a look and it was Castmasters? Not sure where they are from or who is in that club. But as for the two guys that are so upset. They should have said something to the person that was sooooo rude. That is just a bunch of BS to sit and talk crap about bass fishermen as a group. 99.9 % of the tournament anglers are very respectful and watch what is going on. So all in all just a bunch of whiny little boys that dont know what to do but post BS about them.

Have you seen the guys on that site?? Hell we could send out the juinor varsity's kids and still kick their ass.
