Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

This is one technique i've haven't really practiced much, and I have some questions. Will it work good year round? What structure should I look for post spawn? Docks? Isolated stumps? Thanks!

I look for docks isolated stumps lay downs and I like to skip a beaver or a jig right about this time I have had my best luck flipping more in the spring time but I no people who flip almost all year.
I almost never "flip", but I pitch a lot and call it flipping. Anytime I think bass are in or near heavy cover in less the 8-10' of water, pitching is one of my go to techniques. Any structure is the kind of structure to look for until the fish start giving you more specific clues.
+1 on exactly what you said

Agree with Zackery too.  I never FLIP.  I am not good at it, and I just don't like getting that close no matter how thick the cover.
I flip a lot but I mostly flip crankbaits and I use a spinning rod exclusively.

The secret is to close your eyes......
