Is it simply too much of a logistical nightmare to have good live coverage of the superbowl of bass fishing? By live coverage, I mean, on boat camera's switching back and forth.
How does the sport expect to grow if its biggest event is only trully viewable after its over?
Bill Dance Saltwater is on right now. Who would rather watch the classic....even if it was unedited and choppy.
I went to bassmasters, and the coverage is pretty boring. Sure you can spend hours there watching unlive action...but I can spend hours organizing my fishing tackle right now too....and thats more fun, so thats where I'm headed.
To each his own then. I'm watching a live satelite view right now of where they are fishing, along with commentary of what's going on with the decision making, and strategy. I'd much rather watch that than the weigh-in.
Go on and organize your leadheads again...;)
First you'll need to post a picture of your progress. I don't want to see something where your 3" grubs are mixed in with your 5"ers. Green pumpkin better not be mixed in with any root beer. When you get your bobbers all organized by color and size, maybe, just maybe I'll send you a link.
VanDam and Horton making a move this morning. Will make for an interesting finish!
Chris Lane takes it.
It looked like he was having a slow morning, but ends up sticking a 6-10 to seal the deal!
