Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hey guys,

I live in Redmond, and am looking to get away for a couple nights in July. Would love to hear any recommendations on cool spots for lake side camping / fishing in Washington state. Will have my kayak in tow, so won’t be bound to the shoreline, and would really love to find a lake with a strong small mouth population. Was considering banks lake because of all the SMB reports, but the campgrounds seemed pretty busy. Would love to hear your suggestions on other spots to consider.

Many thanks!

Potholes. Bring your frogs and forget about smallmouth for a day. Fish for smallies off the island if the largemouth arent snappin!

Wildwood Resort on Lake Whatcom sounds like the perfect spot.

Crescent bay:

Or Osborn Bay off Banks, somewhat sheltered from wind, and not a lot of boat pressure.

Stay at Sunbanks Resort on Banks Lake.

Thanks so much for the suggestions! I will check these out online and try to make a call this week.
