Super fish. Can't wait to get my hands on some black/blue 1/2 ouncers from ya!
Awesome job!
Nice! Takes some Pork to catch a pig I guess? Silliness. Awesome catch.
What a fish! Nice job

Nice fish!
Dude, those look amazing. You know I'll buy some, right this second. I need that double weed guard !
Take my money. Give me your jigs.
Thank you, guys!
Craig, thank you for your question. These are jigs I am making. While I love throwing big swimbaits and topwaters to try to entice a big bite, jig fishing remains a fun and effective way to catch quality fish. The issue I have found is that there aren't any stock jigs on the market that have all the attributes I am looking for. I've been making some bulkier skirt options for several years, with a quality, heavy duty hook, but I hadn't found a model that came through the thickest cover as well as I would have liked. After experimenting with many different heads, brush guard and hook combinations, trailer keepers, etc., I've landed on a model that seems to work perfectly for my needs.
I've also experimented a great deal with skirt bulk/length. I've found a combination of three different sizes of living rubber (per jig) that provides the action, bulk and fall rate I am looking for, but still skips extremely well up under overhanging cover or just to mix up the presentation. I hope to bring a 1/2 oz., 3/4 oz. and 1 oz. in a handful of colors to market in 2016. Still some logistical details to work out (I don't have the time to tie them myself), and some more field-testing by myself and others to make sure they are dialed in. A few images below. The brown/purple has a 5" Havoc Pit Boss for perspective. The brown/blue has been trimmed up and the black/blue is the full length skirt.
