Johnny is as nice a guy as you will ever meet, he has been a real positive addition to Evergreen Bass club. Great job Johnny, way to represent the Washington State crowd, can't wait to hear some details at the next meeting.
Yes indeed-congrats Johnny!
Great job!
Hell ya man way to stick em

Brian
way to go!
Johnny,

Wow!!! Nicely done! You made your Top 10!! You set your goal and achieved it. Sometimes the numbers don't add up completely to give you everything you want, but you did what you needed to do. Here's some numbers ... 2008, 122 place in CoAngler AOY, 2009 22nd place, thats 100 places, OUTSTANDING!.
No doubt if you keep this up and we'll see you fishing the Cup next year. Won't hurt with your sponsorship opportunities either.

Go get'em in '10.

Steve
Thats the talent of Evergreen Bass Club
Hey... Ron Hobbs Junior thinking he's all Ron Hobbs Junior again!

Steve I have to jump in here and let you know, Johnny only fished one tournament last year compared to the whole series this year, that is the difference in the points. As far as sponsorship opportunities, Johnny has one of the best, The National Guard. We annoyingly travel together.

I had a few things working for me... I do have the best sponsor (National Guard), Pro travel partner (Ron Hobbs Jr.) and Bass Club supporting me. (Evergreen Bass Club)

NATIONAL GUARD! Anyone will tell you that fishing for the Guard is above the rest!

RON HOBBS JR.! Great guy to travel with and he has really showed me some ropes to include telling me how much I suck! Humility is key to success... even when I felt at my best after the tournament he offered me some criticism... Great friend!

EVERGREEN BASS CLUB! wonderful bass club, the best president (Willie Parsons) and tons of great angler's sharing their experiences and knowledge!

WAFISH! Greatest fishing site around and I want to send a big thanks for all the support from the Wafish pep's... Thanks!
Nice job. And what a cool name.

Ron, ya just gotta let the air out of the balloon....:o) and unlike a lot of the folks that post stuff, I was technically accurate. That said, I think even more to the point, that for Johnny to finish 22nd this year after only fishing his first tourney at this level last year.... Thats an accomplishment that anyone in their first full year can be proud of. On another topic, Congrats! on your Forrest Wood Cup qualification too. Would love nothing more than to see you win it all, and won't be shocked when you do. I remember seeing Luke and Brent win theirs on TV, it had to be some kind of moment for them.

Laters,
Steve
