Nice first day Ron and Jonny...keep it up! Great stuff on the FLW website, sounds like there catching them on a Neko Rigged 5 and 6 inch Senko.
Joel ,

Question for ya , Im not putting you on the spot here im just looking to learn something about this rig . I noticed that you have a circle hook with weed guard , Talk to me about the proper hook set when fishing this rig . From what i have learned before while using circle hooks is that a "hookset" is not required , more so just slow pull and keep reeling . Is that also the case with the Neko also ?

Dez's head is already in the clouds, ain't no room for his feet too. :-) lol

The most important thing, now pay attention.......

BOTH feet must come off the deck when setting the hook.

It's not a circle hook it's a wide gap finesse with a weedguard.

Johnny Walker is still holding on to his lead. Johnny is a heck of a nice guy, and a member of our National Guard and the Evergreen Bass Club. It seems like every other word out of his mouth is allways Senko, so it's no surprise he's doing well with his confidence bait! I definantly wish him the best of luck tommorow.
Best of luck to Ron and Johnny.

Thats Johnny's setup fishing the tournment, not Joel's.
WOW. Looks like Johnny might have it locked up! The smallest bag that can tie with him right now would have to be just over 11#'s
Congrats to Johnny Walker on the win at Shasta! Congrats also to Jr. for a great finish and nice paycheck as well! Way to go, guys!

ciao,
Marc

Big congrats to Ron and Johnny. Awesome job, fellas!
Looks like Walker is bringing home a boat boys! Way to make the PNW proud! Hobbs payday is not too shabby either. I could only dream of getting paid like that to fish.
