OK, a while back there was quite a discussion about rod warranties.  One thing about Lamiglas is that they listen to their customers, and they work hard to earn your business.  After the discussion on WAFish.com, they held a meeting at their factory, which I attended.  The challenge was to improve their warranty service while at the same time protect their business.  One way other companies do this is to raise the prices of their rods to add more profit, and then have a liberal warranty.  The problem with this method is that every time you buy one of their new rods, you are paying for all the others who are careless with their rods.

Lamiglas has always had a lifetime warranty on their Excel Series, Certified Pro Series, and the new Excel Series.  If the rod breaks due to manufacturing defects, they replace the rod at no charge, forever.

NOW Lamiglas offers an additional level of protection to their warranty service.  They are sticking with their Lifetime Warranty as before, but also provide a "no questions asked" replacement warranty to cover damage caused regardless of the reason.  The customer will pay a replacement cost that covers some of the expense of the new rod, but no profit.  Think of this as a "customer loyalty" program.  Many dealers will even exchange your broken rod for a replacement over the counter so you don't have to wait for shipping.

Rather than repeat the wording, you can view the details at this link:

THIS IS AWSOME NEWS!! Yet another reason to value my lami's !!
Competitor is on the list.
I broke my XMG the day after Christmas and had my new one back from Lamiglas before the end of January.
Sweet!

Hum you did not list the competitor series I have had those go in for warranty before with no problem. I do like the new Execel would be nice to trade in all my old rods for those.
Nice!
Even before this, I've always fished Lamiglas and this proves why. Great rod, American made, and quite simply..they ROCK! I've always had upfront customer service from them. Great post Marc!
I own a few Lamiglases. The new warranty will help in my decission making.... Thanks Lamiglas
Hey Marc i was wondering if there was a warranty on the skeet reese series crankin stick cause i have one that the fuji came out of the guide and if that would be under warranty? Thanks ahead for your future comments.
Great News Marc. I am always glad to see companies stepping up as to passing the buck.

Mark
This is good Marc especially as I have not bought a lot of my rods new and if I did I have lost the purchase info. Glad for a small fee no matter the situation I can get a replacement.
Great news Marc - now it's time for the split grip!
Hey Shawn they have it in the new Excel series rods and for only $100.00

Damon, you bet, your line guide is covered under the lifetime warranty. Send it to them or take it there and they will replace the guide at no charge.

Shawn, yes the split grip is on in the new Excel series; check them out as there is no better value on the market for a premium rod.

ciao,
Marc
