Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

There are confirmed and unconfirmed reports of a metallic Blue and white 20ft Skeeter crashing on the rock pile of Lake Stevens yesterday. Dose anybody have sources to this incident or is it anyone’s guess as two how it happed or is it a made up myth.

I went to Lake Stevens and did some looking around and found what I was looking for. I found the boat and the owner but he dose not want me posting his name or photos.
What I can say is that he is from Oregon state hear visiting family. He hit the rock pile at about 8:30 PM last night and was able to move the boat back to the launch by it own power. The keel guard was piled off and the skage broke of the motor. It let in water but stayed afloat long enough to make it bake. The owner dose not want me giving any more details.

I'd like to know where "the rockpile" is so this doesn't happen to anyone else. I only been to the lake once but will be back. How shallow is it ? At least it wasn't a BassCat right ;)
I hear ya but the Rock Pile is marked.
The rock pile is marked well. There is 2, but only one could really be a problem. Its on the north east side. It prob has like 8-10 bouys on it, kinda hard to miss.

I was on Lake Stevens yesterday running my boat and checking out a few things from 5pm-6:30pm and there was nothing out there then. The buoys were all still up around the rock piles...
see this is the kind of info we need to figure this out. i m still asking the person i heard it from if hes pulling a fast one but about five people saw it but i am currently looking to see if any one has photos of it to prove it happed
I wonder why he's not more open about it, it must be for insurance reasons. That is too bad his vacation ended up that way. That would suck!
