That's pretty awesome.  When I was in my teens, I had about a 3lb LM in one of those plastic molded ponds in the front yard for a few years.  He would eat night crawlers out of my hand, but it never crossed my mind ot put one in my mouth...  You should have seen "the big guy" go through 20 gold fish!  It would take all of about 20 seconds (no exageration) for him to get them all in his mouth.  I even threw a garder snake in there one time about 15"+ long and he crushed it in seconds.  They actually make pretty good pets!

It really makes you think that they don't care to much about us just what we have to offer when they are hungry!!

Well, yeah if their hungry you can catch them on just about anything. The trick is getting them to bite when they aren't hungry.
