Looks pretty good. Looking forward to checking it out.
It airs tomorrow 12/29 on Comcast @ 10:00 a.m.  Ch.34

It will be on today at 8:30 a.m.

Have seen it before with the crew you mentioned. It was a good one. I have always liked Dobyns and it was cool to see him at work. Unfortunately most guys are working when the program is on. I am retired so I guess I am a lucky one.

I will post the results, etc. after the show, for those of you that are interested.

Hey, My bad...

Got caught up in computor work for bait biz and missed the show.

Really wanted to see it and share..

I saw the episode Gary Dobyn's wasn't on.  I was not impressed.
I agree Chris they don't seem to fish any real lakes and they all fish with Lake Fork baits.  They all seemed to be fishing within like 50ft of each other on a pond... Even the episode with Gary wasn't too impressive though it was better than the 2 since then.

maybe they could have barlow holding dobyns' rod for him, that would make it interesting

You know as I look back on the show in question, they were pretty close to each other. Even though

I like to see Gary at work, he really didn't produce much.

Maybe, Wafish should put on a similar event with some of the better known NW anglers. I am sure someone would be willing to tape it. We really could use a program like that for the NW. Get Hobbs and Walker for example, or Ferry and Berto. The list could be endless.

Finally got a chance to see the show again this last weeks episode.

All of the observations were right on. Really a circle jerk program. All of the anglers are in shouting distance and the whole premise is who can catch the biggest fish, so what. Apparently the lake is full of big fish. What lake, no way, an over sized pond more like it.

It is pretty obvious the intent is to promote Lake Fork Tackle. This event was pretty boring and I really learned nothing. Probably won't watch again.

You ever smelled Lake Fork soft plastic?

It smells like used 90WT gear oil, can't stand it. I bought some and tried it one time, never again.

The show does seem weak, but anything fishing this time of year is good. If the wind is not blowing like mad tomorrow, I am going to launch my boat in Roosevelt and see if I can find a winter fish.

I have seen several of these now and I agree with others that they do fish ponds and resorts....and they are not catching the kind of fish you would assume they would catch in brood ponds!

Hopefully the concept will get better....along with the producer!
