Just wondering what everyone on here likes to throw for fluorocarbon.  I use Seaguar Invisx and Abrazx now, but am thinking of trying some new stuff, possibly Sunline FC.  I have also heard the Sufix Ivisible flourocarbon is pretty good too.

I have always used P-line but I might try some of the Sunline this year only because I have an affinity for prime numbers and none of the other manufacturers make line in 5 or 7 pounds.

+1  ...  I feel like a butthole for taking so long too see the light :)

Only use flouro leaders anymore (leader material). Like P-Line Sensei and Seaguar

I haven't used anything but P Line 100% fluoro since I first tried it.  I'm a fan and I know what I am getting when I use it.

The "managable" part of your reply is a pretty good starting point as to why for me.

Pretty much tried all of them. Seaguar Invizx is all I use and by far is the most managable on spinning gear. I would love to start a debate with all of you guy's that utilize braid w/ fluoro leaders, however I will save that for a later time. There is no magic here, line is based on your confidence in it's ability to perform. There is no right or wrong answer regarding line choice. Let your results on the water be your guide.

good topic , Start the thread Dana :)  I just recently spoke to the northend bass club about the benifits of using braid so i would love to share my experience on the topic and also hear what other anglers have to say as well  .

My favorites without respect to price is Tatsu, but I can't justify the expense.  Sugoi is my favorite that I am willing to spend the money on for tournaments or whenever it counts, but for fun fishing I will go less expensive with Seaguar and McCoy Fluorocarbon.  I have never used the Sun Line products, but suspect I would love them as I have heard they are quality and similar to Sugoi.

In many cases I prefer straight fluorocarbon, and have learned how to make it manageable, and in other situations I prefer braid with fluoro leaders.

Sunline FC for finesse applications 4-12lb and Berkley Trilene 100% flouro for anything 15lb-25lb.

I have been using Seaguar for the last few years and like it a lot.  I did buy some Sunline for the first time this winter in the odd sizes for SM.  I still haven't made the switch to braid to flouro but I hope to this year, if I break out the light rods that is.

I would recommend Seaguar Red Label for anyone who has not tried it. Dont let the price fool you it's 10# and 12# line is solid and casts awesome. Great for deep cranking and other long-cast applications. (it does not last very long, but it will become unmanageable before it starts failing so you dont have to worry about losing fish. For everything else including braid leaders I use Abrazx. FYI I hardly fish spinning gear and when I do it is braided.

Biffle, Mclelland, Ehler... some of my favorite pros fish for Sunline so I gave their line an honest chance. I tried sniper in 6,7,8, 10, and Reaction FC 8#. I experienced quality issues with all of it. I think Sunline pros all fish $hooter for light line.

P-Line 100 percent Flouro in most applications and Seaguar on the heavy 20#plus stuff.

Haven't really got into the Braid/flouro leader stuff . Haven't had a reason to so far .

Suppose I'll have to try it and see if it shows me any difference.
