Dez that photo came off of the FLW site and that is Johnny's rod and setup for fishing the Shasta tournament, not mine. I have never fished the neko rig but I placed an order today with tacklewarehouse and will be trying it this spring for sure. I think the dropshot analogy is a good one but maybe Johnny should teach us about it=)

Just to make a point. I have the same 'depth finder' on the front of the boat as on the console. Therefore if the front one goes out, I can swap finders and keep on fishing with a graph under foot on the bow. :-) I've had to do it once.

Great win Johnny and very nice finish Ron!! I followed the weigh-ins and stories all week on FLW's website. That Neko rig looks very cool! Has that rigging method been around for a while? I was amazed at how I had never heard of it at all until last week and then all of a sudden it seemed everyone at Shasta was fishing it.
