I've had my Save Phace (Fish Hedz) mask for about 4 years now and never have been able to wear it in the cold without fogging up. I even just bought a brand new guaranteed not to fog lense from TW for the WAFISH tourney and still had issues. DJ, Marc, any thoughts on this?

For the short amount of time while it does work though I love it. And in the summer when running through the dunes in the morning at potholes.

Would Rain-X work for that? Don't they make an anti-fogging formula too?
Jordan I have never worn one of those, but I have found the few times I've been in a bass boat during the cold that my old ski goggles and a face mask have worked very well. It keeps my face warm and I can see very clearly. I asked Shawn on Saturday how the fogging up was on those masks, and I think he said Rain-X helped.
OOO, I know this!!!! Hockey players have the same problem. I would go to a sporting goods store and buy an anti-fog spray. The ones designed for the cold (hockey) should work the best so try a hockey shop.
Rain- X works o.k., but you can still have some issues at times. It is the best option that I have found so far though. I would be interested in checking out something like Zachery said about the anti fog spray designed for the cold.
i have had the same problem with paintball masks. i ended up installing a small computer fan i picked up from Radio Shack with a switch and a couple AA batteries. cut a hole it top of mask to fit and insert with a thin layer of clear silicone to secure it. works great :)
get some catpiss dude. (its anti-fog stuff for ski goggles and such, works pretty well).
lol woops that should be cat crap, not cat piss. seriously.

hahahaha. thats great that you left the original up....
I know divers use tooth paste to keep their mask from fogging up or you might try a dive shop I'm sure they would have something that would help.Or stop breathing so hard?
Jordan, that is one reason I quit representing that company; the promises of a fix never materialized for our weather conditions. I like Kevin's idea, and I think he should make a mask with the battery compartment built-in and even make it a heated mask with matching gloves!

Been the route of antifog liquids and sprays, and they work once, and then you have to do it again and again and your visibility gets affected. My Army tanker goggles work the best, but I get harassed too much when I wear them.

So Kevin, bring your product to market...add heat while you are at it, I'll buy two.

ciao,
Marc
Would ya be able to post pictures of your modification?? I thank you in advance.

Just a thought have you tried a full face motorcycle helmet I recall riding with Brian Walker few years back & that is what he used. Seems to me your head would be warmer.
