Huge thanks from Chase Heatons family

Thanks to all that helped Chase in making the trip he will never forget. His mother and I can not say enough to ever express our gratitude. When life jumps out and hits you square in the gut, the humanity of others, some we've met and some complete strangers have come out in swarms. We could not be prouder parents of our son who has obviously made a mark on the people he has met in this tight bass fishing family. The generous contributions that have made this trip possible our overwhelming.… Continue

Fishing In Mexico Report Fall 2011

Fishing in Mexico

I was not sure if I would have the chance to fish in Mexico, but in case I did, I brought along a minimal “assortment of lures I thought were “best guesses” and universal in nature.  I brought along:

1)      Some of my salmon jigs, in various shades of pink, fuchsia (red) and purple

2)      Some of my inline spinners

3)      A variety of spoons including three Dick Nites

4)      A few buzz bombs

5)      Three…

After Market Mapping for Lowrance HDS7

Advice please! Looking at making the painful financial commitment of purchasing the Lowrance HDS7 combo. Unit comes with "Enhanced US mapping". This is not even what I had in mind. I'm in need of contour lines, depths, etc. I'd like to hear opinions and recommendations regarding how members are liking their after market mapping as I'm sure I'll be up grading. Thanks and Happy Trials- M

I just finished up the app a bit ago after 6 months of work, and wanted to share it with my fellow anglers.  Hopefully some of you will find it useful, I know that I have already.  The app's called…
